Advisor_Guide_veCollect_12_09_2009 A .pdf that is rather large, be patient.  Lots of screen shots so it’s not as long as it looks.

veCollect_Applicant_Instructions_12_09_2009 This is a powerpoint presentation that you can view and also download and share with your applicants.

Creating Word Documents with Letterhead and Signature This is a document we created to show evaluators how they can make sure to have their letters on letterhead and signature when they send them to veCollect via email attachment.  A link to this document appears in the email sent to evaluators.  However, we wanted to make it available to you also so that you can communicate it to evaluators if you have a mechanism for doing that.

Link to the “veCollect playground” –Here you can “play” with veCollect. We created a “dummy” advisor and a “dummy” applicant.  We will post the logins and passwords for those accounts here and on veClient Dashboard (see below).

Feel free to use the playground to see how the system works.  There are a few things to keep in mind that may be more clear to you after you review the instructions.

  • Generally in veCollect, your applicants will create their own user accounts.  However, we realize that there may be situations in which you wish to create an account for an applicant.  So in veCollect, you have that function.  For the playground, you will not be able to register as an applicant and create an account.  However, you can use the advisor function “create new applicant” to create new applicant accounts if you wish to have more applicant accounts on which to practice.
  • There are certain functions of veCollect which trigger emails to be sent to the evaluators.  For the playground we have disabled this function.
  • Since data on the playground will be visible to all who use it, DO NOT enter sensitive information in the playground.
  • Please reallize that after a number of people start using the playground, it will get messy.  We may, from time to time, delete some of the data so it doesn’t get over encumbered.
