About

VirtualEvals, LLC was founded by Saeed Richardson and Kay Singer, whose collaboration and friendship began in 2003.

Saeed, a graduate of Virginia Tech, is the web development guru (geek) of the partnership.  For a young guy, he has many years of programming experience and has worked in the Office of Information Technology at Duke University and the Office of Admissions, Duke University School of Medicine.  A man of many talents and interests, he has done graduate work at Duke Divinity School, pastors a church, and has a supportive wife and two adorable children, ages 5 and 1.  Can you say “geeklets”?

Kay, a graduate of Wake Forest University and Duke University is in her third career.  For 15 years she was an immunologist on the faculty of Duke University Medical Center.  For the next 15, she was an associate dean in Trinity College of Arts and Sciences of Duke University where helped shepherd thousands of students into careers in the health professions.  She retired from Duke in 2007 and works as the site administrator for VirtualEvals which happily means she gets to continue  interacting with health professions advisors and admissions officers.  Her husband, a dedicated primary care physician, is relieved she has an active retirement.  They have a son, daughter, and son-in-law.
